The ’67 truck is a mighty eighteen-wheeler decked out in the familiar Hess colors of the time. Presentation sets it apart: The bottom of the box is covered in red velvet and doubles as an elegant display stand to show off the rig. The popular design defines this rare toy, commonly referred to now as the “Red Velvet Tanker Truck”.
Truck Details:
- Decals are in excellent condition and has the large rear decal (see pics).
- The truck measures approximately 13″ in length.
- All the chrome parts are present and in excellent condition with bright color (see pics).
- The battery compartment is clean and the lights have been checked and are in working order.
Box Details:
- Red velvet base is in excellent condition and original (see pics).
- Top of the box has bright graphics and is in excellent condition. Box top has been wrapped in plastic to preserve it (see pics).
- Comes complete with the battery card in mint condition.
- Both inside top inserts are included in mint condition (see pic)
- The extremely rare and never seen original shipping box/container is included with this item just as it came from Hess!!!
