Continuing the tradition of multiple cool accessories, the Hess Recreation Van comes with a Hess Dune Buggy and Motorcycle. Like the 1997 race cars, the dune buggy and motorcycle are powered by friction motors and have working headlights and taillights. The RV has working head, tail, and running lights.

The box has a picture of the truck on both sides with a Hess station in the background and a winter scene. A picture of the truck is on one end and the rear on the other end flap. One of the differences this year on the box is the the Hess station is now a Hess Express.
