This is the 11th edition in the mini series that has been released from Hess. The new 2008 Hess Mini Recreation Van with Dune Buggy features real head & tail, running and interior lights. The rear hatch opens up to a pull down ramp that has a miniature dune buggy inside with features like a roll bar and a pull back friction motor. It is molded after the very popular full size 1998 Hess Recreation Van. These minis were a big hit at the stations and sold out quickly. The van sits on its own display base and individually boxed. These were released on Friday, May 23rd. This is from a collection we recently purchased and has a sticker on the case that the batteries have been removed but we have not verified that and do not want to break the seal so the item is being sold “As Is” with no returns. This is for a sealed case of 24 Hess minis.
