On May 9th Hess changed their name from Amerada Hess Corporation to simply Hess Corporation. To commemorate this great event they produced a Mini “First Hess Truck” that was only distributed on the stock exchange floor.
This mini was produced for the Hess family only and is a chrome edition of the popular 2000 Hess mini. There were very few of these produced making them very rare and hard to find. The box is in mint condition with bright graphics and complete with all packing. NOTE: unlike all the regular Hess mini’s this edition did not come with a battery instruction card. The mini measures approximately 6″ in length. The lights have been tested and are in working order. The factory pre-installed AA and AAA batteries have a tendency to leak over time. Therefore, we remove the AA and AAA batteries to prevent any damage that could be caused due to the battery leaking and are not included. Battery compartment is clean.
