The 1989 Hess Fire Truck sign is made of hard 1/8″ plastic and is very hard to find in this condition anymore. It is a vertical sign measuring approximately 19 x 24 and very colorful with bright graphics of the White Hess Fire Truck. This is the sign that was used to advertise the toy trucks in the early days. They were placed at the roadway to let motorists know that the new Hess truck was for sale. In the later years and up to the present Hess made the signs a lot thinner but still made of plastic to be durable. These signs, especially the older ones, are getting harder and harder to find as Hess stations are a thing of the past!
