Here’s your chance to acquire a unique & very rare vintage working 1960s Oil Well / Derrick. The vintage battery operated toy oil pump was manufactured by Escon for toy distributor Melvin G. Miller of Houston, Texas. This rare vintage plastic model was manufactured and distributed in the early 1960’s by Melvin G. Miller Company for Humble Oil to be given to its clients. These were also produced for Hess & Wildcat Oil Companies in extremely low production numbers as samples! This rare particular oil well has no name on it and a different color blue than any of the other oil wells we have seen, possibly a proto-type. The oil well comes complete with what is shown in the picture. It has been tested and does work.
