Here’s your chance to acquire a unique & very rare vintage working 1960s Humble Oil Well / Derrick. There were 2 versions of this derrick. One had a white battery cover and the second version had a red battery cover which is harder to find. This is Version #2 with red battery cover. The vintage battery operated toy oil pump was manufactured by Escon for toy distributor Melvin G. Miller of Houston, Texas. This rare vintage plastic model was manufactured and distributed in the early 1960’s by Melvin G. Miller Company for Humble Oil to be given to its clients. These were also produced for Hess & Wildcat Oil Companies in extremely low production numbers as samples!
