Here’s your chance to acquire a unique & very rare vintage working 1960s Humble Oil Well / Derrick with the nearly impossible to find original box (see pic)! There were 2 versions of this derrick, one had a white battery cover and the second had a red cover which is harder to find (available on our site). This one has the red cover. The vintage battery operated toy oil pump was manufactured by Escon for toy distributor Melvin G. Miller of Houston, Texas. This rare vintage plastic model was manufactured and distributed in the early 1960’s by Melvin G. Miller Company for Humble Oil to be given to its clients. It is in excellent condition, original and come with the rare instruction card! These are very rare and difficult to find in any condition especially with the original box. These were also produced for Hess & Wildcat Oil Companies in extremely low production numbers as samples!
