Here’s your chance to acquire a unique & very rare vintage working 1960s Humble Oil Well / Derrick. There were 2 versions of this derrick, one had a white battery cover and the second had a red cover which is harder to find (available on our site). This one has the white cover. The vintage battery operated toy oil pump was manufactured by Escon for toy distributor Melvin G. Miller of Houston, Texas. This rare vintage plastic model was manufactured and distributed in the early 1960’s by Melvin G. Miller Company for Humble Oil to be given to its clients. The battery cover is a reproduction piece but made from original stock and only missing the top derrick cover. Included is a new 2004 Hess mini Tanker which make a great display piece! Oil well has been tested and is in working order. These were also produced for Hess & Wildcat Oil Companies in extremely low production numbers as samples!
