About Our Hobby
Just like the old saying, “The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.” This couldn’t be more true about this hobby. We think that one of the best things about collecting Hess Trucks is the constant learning and friendships that you make along the way. Gone are the days of just going to flea markets or toy shows, although you can still find great deals from time to time, when along comes the internet! It’s not quite the same as meeting the people in person, sometimes talking to them for hours about this terrific hobby, but now you get the chance to “chat” to people all over the world that share the same interest as you, collecting Hess Toy Trucks!
Selling
We started out selling Hess over 25 years ago long before the internet and eBay came along. Once eBay started we began selling there and quickly became what was then called a “Power Seller”. Because eBay was very restricted on design we decided to create our own website with a personal down home feeling. We wanted to combine a learning, fun as well as a great shopping experience to give our customers that “at home” feeling & personal service like the old time “Mom & Pop” stores from years ago. Our main goal is to describe the items in great detail pointing out any flaws and most importantly, request that you email us with any questions you may have before placing your order. We don’t claim to know all the answers, but with the vast amount of friends and contacts that we have made along the way, usually one of us can come up with an answer. You will also notice that we try to include as detailed a picture as possible so that the buyer can see any of the flaws that we may be trying to point out.
